Duk Tattoo Corp. ("Duk Tattoo", "we", "us") operates duktattoo.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it and the choices you have.

  • Information you give us. When you send our booking form we receive your name and email; your phone number if you add it; your tattoo idea in your own words; and any reference pictures you attach.
  • How you found us. With your request we record the page you sent it from and how you first arrived at the Site (for example a Google ad, a search or a link on another site), so we know which ads and pages work.
  • Collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) to keep the Site secure and working. To block spam, the form limits how many requests can come from the same connection, using a one-way encrypted version of the IP address.
  • Analytics and ads. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which use cookies or similar technologies to count visits, understand how the Site is used and measure the results of our ads. Once you interact with the Site, we also load Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings that show how people use the Site) and the Meta Pixel (which tells Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, that a visit led to a booking request, so we can measure our ads there).

To answer your request, prepare a quote and schedule your appointment; to operate, protect and improve the Site; to measure our advertising; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you only to reply about your request and your appointment. We do not send marketing texts without your prior express consent. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP.

Only the service providers that help us run the business and the Site, under their own privacy terms: our web hosting and email provider (Hostinger); Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, where we keep track of booking requests, Google Analytics and Google Ads); Microsoft (Clarity); Meta (the Meta Pixel and the measurement of our ads on Facebook and Instagram); Cloudflare, which protects the booking form from spam; and our web developer, which maintains the Site and its booking form. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

To keep our booking form free of spam, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible check that the form is being used by a person. When you start filling in the form, Cloudflare processes technical information from your browser and device (such as your IP address) only for this check. You don't see or solve anything. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab) and Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Microsoft Clarity records how you move, tap and scroll on the Site, so we can see what works and what gets in the way. What you type into the booking form is masked and is not recorded, and Clarity does not capture the pictures you attach. Please do not write sensitive information (health, payment or government ID details) in the message box. Microsoft keeps these recordings for about 30 days. See Microsoft's privacy statement (opens in a new tab).

When you send our booking form, a one-way encrypted (hashed) version of your email address and phone number may be shared with Google and with Meta to measure how well our ads work. It is not used to contact you, and they do not receive it in readable form. The Meta Pixel also tells Meta which pages of the Site you visited, so our ads on Facebook and Instagram can be measured. Under California law this may count as "sharing" for cross-context advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.

The Site works without cookies. Google Analytics and Google Ads may set cookies. The Site also saves two small preferences in your own browser: whether you paused the background animation, and, while your browser tab is open, how you arrived at the Site. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com (opens in a new tab) and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (opens in a new tab), and choose which ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel may set their own cookies or read device identifiers (for example _clck, _clsk, _fbp and _fbc) and receive technical data such as your IP address, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and device type. Microsoft and Meta use that data under their own privacy policies.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (some browsers and extensions do), the Site treats it as a request not to sell or share your information: it does not load Microsoft Clarity or the Meta Pixel, and we do not send your booking request to Meta.

Your browser may send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the Site does not change its behavior when it receives one; you can use the cookie controls above.

We keep booking requests only as long as we need them to reply, for our records and to meet legal requirements, and in general no longer than 2 years after our last contact with you. Pictures you attach reach us by email and are not stored on the Site. The Site uses HTTPS, form data is stored outside the public part of the server, and only the people who handle your request can see it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Our tattoo services are only for clients 18 or older, or 16 and 17 with a notarized parental consent form, as Florida law requires.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing booknow.duktattoo@gmail.com.

The Site links to services we do not control, such as Instagram and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

If you believe any content on this Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to booknow.duktattoo@gmail.com with:

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
